We exist to help young people grow through sport, building skill, character, and confidence with the guidance of coaches and mentors who have walked the path.
Our Founder
Paramount Training & Fitness was founded by Asani Samuels, a former professional soccer player, licensed coach, and lifelong student of the game who has spent nearly a decade developing young athletes across Western New York.
Asani played four years of Division I soccer, earning three Regional All-American honors and the Canisius Male Athlete of the Year award. He went on to compete professionally for several years, capturing the USL Finals MVP award as he led the Rochester Rhinos to the 2015 USL Championship.
Off the field, Asani is a licensed coach who has worked at every level of the game. He served as Director of the Delaware Soccer Club, where he has been a trusted presence on the sidelines for nearly ten years, and has contributed to programs including the Western New York Flash and Kenmore Soccer Club. Along the way, he has coached numerous players who have gone on to compete at the college level.
That blend of elite playing experience and hands-on coaching is the foundation of Paramount: the standards we hold, the way we teach, and the role models we bring in to walk alongside our students.

Where We Start
We're launching with soccer because it's where our founder's professional experience runs deepest. But our identity is bigger than one sport. As we grow, Paramount aims to expand into basketball, track, volleyball, and beyond, carrying the same commitment to development, mentorship, and character into every program.
